On behalf of the Boiling Springs Civic Association, I am excited to announce “Holidays at Children's Lake” on Sunday, December 7th!
On December 7th at noon, Santa's Village will open at the Gazebo. It will offer cookies, hot cocoa, candy canes, letters to Santa, a petting zoo, Christmas craft activities, information about birds, story time, and face-in-the-hole boards for pictures. Live music from The Bubbler Band Christmas Ensemble will begin at 12:30 PM. All activities are free!
This year, we are excited to introduce a Kris Kringle Marketplace, which will open at noon on the 100 block of Front Street. Come to the Clocktower and shop for the perfect local Christmas gift and stocking stuffers—Boiling Springs 2026 calendar, hand-knit hats, local honey, gourmet sauces, natural greenery (roping and wreaths), soy candles, goat soaps and lotions, local photography and charcuterie/ cutting boards, pottery, and so much more. While you shop, sip a hot local mulled wine or enjoy a cocktail with a custom KrisKringlemarkt mug and gift wine and distillery packs. There are gourmet cupcakes, cookies, and gingerbread for a perfect pairing, along with food trucks!
Santa will arrive by boat across the lake around 1:00 pm to greet children and the young at heart for photo opportunities and to hear Christmas wishes. Pick up your clothespin and join the queue to see Santa. While you wait, feel free to enjoy the free activities in Santa’s Village or browse the marketplace on Front Street. Please note that at 4:00 PM, we will stop handing out clothespins, and no new entries will be allowed in the queue to see Santa.
At 5:15 PM, the Boiling Springs High School Concert Choir will perform Christmas carols, and at the conclusion of their performance, the Tree will be lit on our beautiful Children's Lake.
We invite everyone to come out and enjoy these festivities!
